The Sanctuary of Lotus
Lotus Falls Estate is a luxury vacation rental on five private, wooded acres in Oakhurst, California, about 15 minutes from Yosemite National Park’s South Gate. Inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater, the modern, open-plan main house looks out on Lewis Creek and its private waterfall through floor-to-ceiling windows, and a detached villa brings the estate to five bedrooms. Rented to one group at a time, Lotus Falls hosts family vacations, intimate weddings and private retreats near Yosemite.

From Los Angeles
About 4.5 hours by car, via I-5 and Highway 99 to Fresno, then Highway 41 north.
By Air
Fresno Yosemite International Airport (FAT) is about 50 miles south down Highway 41, with rental cars at the airport.
To Yosemite
The South Entrance is about 13 miles north on Highway 41. Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias is about 17 miles away, and Yosemite Valley about 40 miles.
To Bass Lake
About 6 miles, for swimming, boating and lakeside dining in summer.
