Q: Does Lotus Falls Estate host weddings?
A: Weddings are coming soon to Lotus Falls Estate. We hope to be hosting sometime in 2027. Send a wedding inquiry through our contact page to be first in line for dates.

Q: What kind of weddings will Lotus Falls Estate host?
A: Lotus Falls Estate is planning intimate, private weddings, with the whole creekside estate reserved for one couple and their guests. Guest counts and packages will be shared when wedding dates open.

Q: Where will the ceremony and reception take place?
A: Ceremonies are planned for the estate's tree-lined creek island, reached by a footbridge, with celebrations on the lawn beside Lewis Creek and the private waterfall.

Q: Does inquiring now hold a date?
A: An inquiry doesn't commit you or hold a date, but it puts you first in line. We'll offer dates to couples in the order they inquire as soon as weddings open.

Q: Where will wedding guests stay?
A: Up to 14 guests will be able to stay on site in the main house and guest villa. For everyone else, there are many hotels and vacation rentals in Oakhurst and around Bass Lake, just a few miles away, and we're happy to coordinate room blocks with our lodging partners.

Q: Can our wedding party stay at Lotus Falls Estate now?
A: Yes. The estate is available today as a vacation rental for up to 14 guests with the guest villa, a private base for wedding parties celebrating elsewhere near Yosemite.

Q: Is Lotus Falls Estate close to Yosemite for wedding photos?
A: Yes. Lotus Falls Estate is about 13 miles from Yosemite's South Gate and about 17 miles from the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias, so couples can easily plan portraits in the park. [Photographers working inside Yosemite may need a National Park Service permit, which our concierge can help with.]

Q: Can we plan a proposal at Lotus Falls Estate now?
A: Yes. Our concierge can arrange florals, décor, a private photographer and a styled picnic on the creek island for a proposal during your stay.
